IIM Lucknow Noida Campus - The way to go for IPMX

Set out in the heart of Delhi-NCR, IIM Lucknow's Noida campus was established with a vision to facilitate closer interaction with the business.  Rightfully, the campus serves as an ideal focal point for industry and academia to co-create the business leaders of tomorrow and to solve real world business problems via case-studies, live industry projects, seminars etc. The 20-acres of lush greenery provide the perfect setting for the leaders of tomorrow to indulge in a plethora of activities such as many philanthropic events, sports meet, awareness events, summits, functional-domain specific activities etc. We have tried to capture the essence via below photographs. Alum connect - The bond we share


IPMX in its 11th year boasts a strong Alum connect. We have our 600 odd alums in various industries from Information Technology to Manufacturing. Since it’s only a one-year program we don’t get the opportunity to interact with our previous batch day and out so its very important for the current batch to maintain and nourish the connections with the previous IPMX batches.

In IPMX we do it in several ways. We have a dedicated alum committee to organize events such as Nostalgia dedicated to our Alums. But then there is a need for year round interaction so we start engaging the alums right from the very beginning by sending an introductory mail from the current batch, inviting them in all the events that happen in the campus such as Shubharambh, Arohan, Pravaah etc. This year round we invited our PGP alums in our London module and it was a fascinating experience.

Alums play a lot bigger role in career guidance, interview preparations, what to expect during the placement seasons, what to do and what not to do during one-year term, electives, academics, question papers, projects in their own startups or companies and what not. Since most of our alums are in very good positions they also play a big part in the placements of the current batch directly or indirectly.

In general, this one year MBA program does allow you access to some of the very brightest minds and helpful lot. Most of the alums are ecstatic to hear from the current batch and what’s going on in the campus. Its amazing to see that after so many years they still yearn for those golden old days and want to do everything possible within their reach to make the current batch happy and enlightened. I guess that’s an intangible aspect of being a part of a IIM Lucknow IPMX program.
